Equity Benchmark Indices log weekly dragged by I.T Stocks. S&P BSE Sensex degrew (-2.13%) to 58.338.93 in the week ending April13th, while the NSE Nifty50 declined (-1.9%) to 17,475.65.

On the sectoral front, NiftyFMCG (+1.6%), NiftyPharma (+0.1%), NiftyBank (-0.5%), NiftyMedia (-1.6%), NiftyPSUBank (-1.1%), NiftyAuto (-1.90%), outperformed the NSE Nifty50 index and NiftyMetal (-1.50%), NiftyRealty (-2.0%), NiftyIT (-4.2%) underperformed the index.

The India VIX was -6.5% to 17.79.

Maruti Suzuki India: Company’s NEXA has opened bookings for its premium Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), the All-New XL6. GTPL Hathway: The company has reported a fall of 6.62% in its net profit at Rs 38.25 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 40.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 31.63% at Rs 397.49 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 581.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 8.24% in its net profit at Rs 56.59 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 61.67 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 20.30% at Rs 627.82 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 787.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Jindal Steel and Power: Company is reportedly planning to operationalise four of its just acquired thermal coal mines over the next eight to twelve months. JSPL won the coal blocks at Utkal C, Utkal B1 and Utkal B2 in Odisha; and the Gare Palma IV/6 mine in Chattisgarh.

Trident: Company has reported 13,648 metric tons production of paper in March, 2022. The company’s bath linen and yarn production stood at 3,637 metric tons and 10,939 metric tons, respectively, while bed linen production stood at 2.88 million metres during March. The company’s chemicals production stood at 9,155 metric tons.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank: Company total deposits rose 18% to Rs 3,850 crore as of March 31, 2022 (Q4FY22), as compared to Rs 3,256 crore on a yearly basis. On a quarterly basis, the deposits were up 21% from Rs 3,170 crore as of December 2021. Gross Advances stood at Rs 5,072 crore as of March 31, 2022, posting a 21% rise in year-on-year (YoY) against Rs 4,206 crore as of March 31, 2021 and 4% growth in quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis from Rs 4,872.3 crore in December 2021. CASA Ratio stood at 20.2% as of March 31, 2022 versus 19.2% as of December 31, 2021.

Intellect Global Transaction Banking: The transaction banking specialist from Intellect Design Arena, has signed strategic partnership with Hanoi-headquartered VPBank to provide a fully-integrated, Cash & Payments Management platform to enhance corporate and SME customer’s experience and operational efficiency. For Intellect, this deal marks the tenth key digital banking transformation deal in Vietnam. This digital transformation deal will boost VPBank’s digitization efforts of its transaction banking function which in turn will enhance the country’s digital economy which is aligned with the ‘Vietnam National Digital Transformation Roadmap 2025’. This will bring the bank closer to the goal of being the most customer-friendly bank through technology in 2022 with disruptive iGTB’s products and services for its corporate, commercial and SME clients.

Abbott: Company has launched Arachitol Gummies in India, a dietary supplement that helps maintain required levels of Vitamin D sustainably. Launched in orange fruit flavour, the gummies are approved as health supplements by the Food Safety and Standards Authority in India. The launch of Arachitol Gummies is an important step in helping bridge India's nutritional gaps and enhance good health. These gummies are tasty and chewable, making them easy to consume for kids and adults alike, amid their fast-paced lifestyles.

Tata Consultancy Services: The company has reported a rise of 19.83% in its net profit at Rs 9,795 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8,174 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.50% at Rs 44,440 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 36,881 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 7.29% in its net profit at Rs 9,959 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 9,282 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.54% at Rs 51,572 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 44,636 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 23.34% in its net profit at Rs 38,187 crore as compared to Rs 30,960 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 18.72% at Rs 1,67,827 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,41,363 crore for year ended March 31, 2021. For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 18.08% in its net profit at Rs 38,449 crore as compared to Rs 32,562 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.01% at Rs 1,95,772 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,67,311 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

Info Edge: Company has invested about Rs 3.70 crore in Terralytics Analysis. This investment would help the company to strengthen its offering in the real estate segment by providing an enhanced platform to real estate industry professionals, financial institutions and individual buyers to conduct their business efficiently. The company has agreed to acquire 6,650 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares as part of a larger fund raise exercise by Terralytics. Upon the successful closing of the said fund raise exercise, the aggregate shareholding of the company in the said entity would be 20.50% on a fully converted & diluted basis.

Delta Corp: The company has reported a fall of 41.53% in its net profit at Rs 28.07 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 48.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased marginally by 0.51% at Rs 135.75 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 136.44 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 16.72% in its net profit at Rs 48.11 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 57.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.80% at Rs 236.77 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 217.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a fall of 10.88% in its net profit at Rs 77.31 crore as compared to Rs 86.75 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 64.76% at Rs 376.50 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 228.51 crore for year ended March 31, 2021. For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 66.99 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 24.10 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 43.99% at Rs 654.21 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 454.33 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

Tata Motors: Company has reported a 2% year-on-year increase at 3,34,884 units in group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, for the fourth quarter of FY22. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q4FY22 were at 1,22,147 nos., higher by 12%, over Q4FY21. Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q4FY22 were at 2,12,737 nos., lower by 4% as compared to Q4FY21. Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 89,148 vehicles (JLR number for Q4 FY22 includes CJLR volumes of 12,622 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 19,570 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 69,578 vehicles.

Infosys: The company has reported a rise of 16.10% in its net profit at Rs 5177 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4459 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.80% at Rs 28016 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 23001 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 12.15% in its net profit at Rs 5695 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5078 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.55% at Rs 32913 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 26856 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 17.66% in its net profit at Rs 21235 crore as compared to Rs 18048 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.26% at Rs 107164 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 88379 crore for year ended March 31, 2021. For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 14.02% in its net profit at Rs 22146 crore as compared to Rs 19423 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.71% at Rs 123936 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 102673 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
