BASF India reports net loss of Rs 29 crore in Q1

BASF India has reported results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020.

The company has reported net loss of Rs 29.15 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 8.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 9.41% at Rs 1,771.68 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 1619.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

BASF India is a chemical manufacturing company. It operates in the business segments of agricultural solutions, performance products, plastics businesses and chemicals. The agricultural solutions include insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and specialties.
