In the domestic market, the company sold 491,416 units this month, marking a 16% increase compared to the same month last year (422,757 units in June 2023). For the quarter ending June 2024, the company's total sales rose by 13.5% compared to the previous year (Q1FY'25 - 1.535 million units vs. Q1FY'24 - 1.352 million units).
Hero MotoCorp continues to strengthen its presence in the 125cc, premium, and EV segments, experiencing strong demand for products like the Xtreme 125 and VIDA V1. The company is also expanding its network of Hero Premia and Hero 2.0 stores to enhance the overall customer experience. This month, the company achieved its highest-ever dispatches for the VIDA V1. Hero MotoCorp plans to broaden its EV portfolio with new products targeting the mid and mass segments this fiscal year. The company recorded an impressive 44% growth in global sales during Q1 FY'25, driven by the expansion in Nepal, growth in Colombia and Mexico, and increased market penetration in Turkey. In a milestone achievement for sustainability and responsible manufacturing, Hero MotoCorp has been certified as Zero-Waste-to-Landfill (ZML), reaching this goal ahead of the 2025 target while reducing overall waste by 40%.
Hero MotoCorp has partnered with the Indian Army to celebrate the 25th anniversary (Silver Jubilee) of ‘Operation Vijay’ from the Kargil War. In honor of this significant milestone, the Indian Army is conducting the D5 Motorcycle Expedition using the Mavrick 440 and Xpulse 200 4V motorcycles. Additionally, the Hero MotoSports Team Rally achieved a top 5 finish in the Desafio Ruta 40 rally, continuing to lead the World Championship standings, with Ross Branch holding the top position for the third consecutive round this season.

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, sold 498,123 units of motorcycles and scooters in May 2024. The company had sold 519,474 units in May 2023. Domestic sales witnessed a 6% decline to 479,450 units on a YoY basis. Exports surged 67% YoY to 18,673 units.
The company has sold 10,31,708 units in the first two months (Apr-May’24) of the financial year FY’25, registering a growth of 12.6% over the corresponding months (Apr-May’23) when the company sold 915,581 units.
During the month, Hero MotoCorp launched the latest generation of the iconic Splendor – the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 – celebrating the 30th anniversary of the world’s highest-selling motorcycle. The premium and tech-laden Splendor keeps its iconic design while integrating modern elements such as LED headlights with HIPL (High Intensity Position Lamp), a unique H-shaped signature tail lamp and multiple convenience & safety features. Showcasing it’s all around dominance; the motorcycle boasts excellent fuel efficiency of 73 kmpl.
Hero MotoCorp joined the ONDC Network, becoming the country’s first auto company to join the network. Partnering with ONDC has further enhanced the company’s reach, beyond its largest physical distribution and service network. The Open Network will initially offer two-wheeler parts, accessories and merchandise. This has also reinforced the Digital India mission, contributed to the nation’s economic growth, and revolutionized the digital automotive marketplace.
