Ircon International Limited (IRCON) has announced the receipt of a Letter of Award (LOA) for a significant project in Uttarakhand, India. The contract, awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, involves the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of broad gauge ballastless track (BLT), supply of ballast and installation of track (excluding supply of rails and track sleepers) between chainage 6+015 (FLS) to 125+200 (FLS) in connection with New BG line between Rishikesh and Karanprayag (125km) in the state of Uttarakhand, India
The project is a joint venture between IRCON, Paras Railtech Private Limited, and PCM Strescon Overseas Ventures Limited, with the partnership structured in a 60:25:15 ratio, respectively. The total contract value, including GST, is Rs. 750.83 crore. The work is to be completed within 42 months under an item rate contract.

In compliance with Order No. 2020/E(O)II/40/2 dated 26th April, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Railways, Shri Ashish Bansal, IRSE, PED/Tr. (M&MC), Railway Board, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director, IRCON, effective from 29th April, 2024. This additional responsibility is in addition to his existing duties and will continue until the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier. Consequently, Shri Brijesh Kumar Gupta, Additional Member (CE), Railway Board, has relinquished the additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director, IRCON, with effect from 29th April, 2024. In accordance with Order No. 2022/PL/57/10 dated 16th March, 2023, issued by the Ministry of Railways, and following our previous letters dated 31st March, 2023, and 29th April, 2023, Shri Brijesh Kumar Gupta, Additional Member (CE), Railway Board, has been re-designated as the Government Nominee (Part-Time Official) Director of the Company, effective from 29th April, 2024.

Ircon International Limited (IRCON) under its Joint Venture with Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt Ltd i.e. Ircon-DRA JV has been awarded the LOA for the construction of Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling Project from Km. 45.483 to Km. 72.550 from Shivalingapuram Station to Borraguhalu Station in connection with Kottavalasa Koraput Doubling Project of Waltair Division, East Coast Railway on EPC mode at a quoted bid price of Rs. 1198.09 Crores.

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is to inform that Shri Rohit Parmar, Chief General Manager (Finance/Works), IRCON has been repatriated to Parent Organisation i.e., Indian Railways on completion of his deputation tenure. Accordingly, he ceased to be a Senior Management Personnel of IRCON w.e.f. 24th April, 2024.

IRCON International bags Rs.630.66 cr EPC contract from National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) for constructing 2.5 km Aizawl Bypass Tunnel & approaches on Sairang – Phaibawk section of NH-6 in the state of Mizoram. The contract is to be executed in 36 months.
