Crude oil prices extended their rally after Iran-backed Houthi militants claimed responsibility for attacks on two Saudi Arabian oil tankers in the Red Sea, intensifying concerns over global energy supplies. Brent crude climbed as much as 1.4% to trade above $95 per barrel, following a six-week high in the previous session, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) hovered near $88 per barrel. The latest escalation has heightened fears of supply disruptions across key shipping routes, keeping geopolitical risk firmly embedded in oil markets.
